Hi, I'm Tonas, a full-time software engineer with extensive hands-on development experience from my time at Qihoo 360. Unlike developers who focus solely on software, my expertise spans software development, industrial design, hardware manufacturing, and Internet of Things (IoT) development. Outside my full-time job, I continue to independently design and develop custom peripherals and IoT hardware projects. My experience covers the entire process, from product appearance and structural design to metal component manufacturing, circuit schematics, hardware development, and factory production. I've also collaborated with several well-known studios and IoT brands on commercial projects, gaining practical experience in bringing software and hardware together to turn ideas into finished, manufacturable products. The idea for this accessory came from a common challenge faced by Cardputer ADV users: limited battery life on the go. As more people use this compact device as a portable development and debugging tool, its built-in battery capacity can become a limitation, especially during outdoor use. We wanted to extend its battery life without compromising the compact design that makes the Cardputer ADV so appealing. That's why we developed a modular snap-on battery pack that integrates a 2500mAh battery neatly alongside the device. The design supports 10W fast charging and simultaneous charging and power output, while aiming to preserve the device's original appearance, balance, and comfortable handling. With over 6 hours of stable power, users can spend more time debugging on the go, exploring outdoors, and working on their projects without constantly worrying about low-battery warnings. It's a practical addition designed to give Cardputer ADV users more freedom wherever they take their device.
